TandemLaunch is Quebec's pioneer venture studio, scouting promising IP at universities, acquiring it, recruiting a founding team and building a startup around it. Fund IV's final close at $37M CAD was announced in February 2025 (first close $27M July 2024) with BDC Capital and Fonds de solidarité FTQ as lead LPs, plus 30+ family offices and the federal VCCI program (inclusive growth stream, $6.5M). The fund targets 15 new Montreal-based deep tech companies in AI, computer vision, IoT, advanced sensors and sustainability. Initial pre-seed ticket of $600k to $800k per startup at day zero.
