Intact Ventures is the corporate venture arm of Intact Financial, Canada's largest property and casualty insurer. With $600M managed across three funds and 30+ portfolio companies, the team invests at Series A and Series B in insurtech and fintech, data and AI, mobility and proptech, and vertical software platforms. It runs both direct investments and a fund-of-funds programme, where commitments of $2M to $10M go to early-stage funds, and it has invested in 5+ countries from its Canadian base. Intact Ventures provides access to Intact's operational units (brokers, claims data, underwriting capabilities) to accelerate commercialization for portfolio companies.

Intact Ventures supports portfolio companies through Series B+ and frequently uses Intact's balance sheet to anchor strategic commercial pilots. Co-investment with financial VCs is standard.
