Their thesis, in full
Montreal CVC, spin-off of BCF Business Law (launched June 2018), a ~$12M super-angel fund. It invests at Series A and Series B in AI-driven enterprise software (applied AI and analytics, CRM, ERP, supply chain) plus opportunistic cybersecurity, fintech and digital-native consumer (sports, wellness, gaming, entertainment). Mostly Canada and the US, opportunistically Israel and Europe. It never leads the first round, taking a minority position with pro-rata follow-on, and adds value through the BCF legal-commercial network.
