Founded in 2008, Anges Quebec is the largest angel investor network in Canada with 200+ active angel members, most of whom are former entrepreneurs. The network has built a portfolio of more than 150 companies through member syndicates that lead or co-lead pre-seed and seed rounds for Quebec-headquartered startups. Cheques range from $250k to $1.5M depending on syndicate size. Anges Quebec also operates the Elevia Fund (a co-investment vehicle deploying $1M to $3M per year across 8 to 10 startups) and is closely associated with AQC Capital, whose second fund closed at $78M in May 2021. Latest direct investment was the Opalia $3.2M seed in April 2026 alongside Investissement Quebec and Cycle Momentum.

Anges Quebec angels generally do not lead Series A on their own but the Elevia Fund and AQC Capital provide institutional follow-on capacity within the network. Members expect informal reporting to the syndicate and continued access to the Quebec ecosystem follow-on layer (BDC, FTQ, Investissement Quebec, Desjardins Capital).
