Extreme Venture Partners (EVP) is a Toronto seed VC active since 2007. Across three funds it has invested in over 100 startups, co-founded many companies, created over 10,000 jobs and exited to some of the world's biggest brands. EVP describes itself as investors and mentors to Canadian seed-stage startups, run by a lean team that sits at the intersection of investor and operator. Its third vehicle was raised as a $10M micro-fund for early-stage technology companies in the Toronto-Waterloo corridor; no newer fund has been publicly announced and the pace of new investments is low today. Cheques of $100K to $500K CAD with a lead posture, plus highly operational support on first hires, go-to-market motion, follow-on financing rounds and exit negotiation.

EVP follows on into Series A pro-rata for its strongest performers and actively introduces them to top-tier US Series A leads. Discipline is high: not every seed gets a follow-on.
